TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payment
By booking one of our trips, you in fact accept the terms detailed below.
To book a trip for you, we require a USD 200.00 non refundable deposit.
Once you have selected the trip which best suits your needs, we will e-mail
you our bank account details. The balance of your payment is due two weeks
prior your trip.
You may pay in American dollars (USD) or its equivalent in Euros
Full payment is required when booking two weeks prior to your trip.
Cancellations
If You cancel a trip for any reason, your entire deposit will be withheld by PEAKS PERU E.I.R.L. Any payment made over the deposit will be returned to you if your cancellation occurs more than one week from the trip start date.
We reserve the right to process a payment in full if the cancellation occurs within two weeks of the start date.
If PEAKS PERU E.I.R.L. cancels a trip, you will be reimbursed 100% of your payment, including your entire deposit. You will be alerted in no less then 14 days from the departure date in the event that the trip is not going to run.
Should you be late or not be present at our meeting point, but still wish to join our trip, you will be charged for all expenditures resulting from this delay (non refundable charges for hotels you have not stayed in, transportation booking. Etc.) .
PEAKS PERU E.I.R.L. reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any trip at any time due to unforeseen circumstances (safety issues, strikes, natural disasters, etc.). Should a trip need to be cancelled, alternative arrangements will be provided. Should you choose not to accept the alternative program, only the cost of the cancelled activities will be refunded. Clients will not be able to claim for compensation.
Modifications
PEAKS PERU E.I.R.L. reserves the right to modify the itinerary or the services included in the program, directly or through its guide, when the circumstances so require. As the case may be, the accommodations and other services may also be modified. Since those modifications are beyond the control of PEAKS PERU E.I.R.L., no indemnity can be claimed, but PEAKS PERU E. I. R.L. will arrange for the provision of comparable services.
Assumption of risk
Traveling and all adventure travels (trekking and climbing) entail risks. Participants must acknowledge and accept this fact. Participants are responsible for evaluating their own physical condition and making sure it matches the requirements for their intended trip. They commit themselves not to hold PEAKS PERU E.I.R.L. the guides, or various providers, responsible for any accident which might occur. This commitment also applies to their beneficiaries and any family member. Participants must use cautious and respect safety regulations provided by our guide. We cannot be held responsible for accidents resulting from the non-respect of these regulations. PEAKS PERU E.I.R.L. reserves the right to expel a participant whose physical condition is inadequate and who, as a result, jeopardizes his or her own safety. Guides are given the authority to evaluate the situation out in the field.
Insurance
Travelers should check with their insurer that they have sufficient coverage (cancellation fees, luggage loss or damage, repatriation, etc.), in particular with respect to search and rescue assistance. Upon your arrival, please provide your tour leader with your insurance details (name of your insurance company, emergency phone numbers, etc.)
Prices
Prices are for reference only. Our prices are established based on the
cost of a variety of components. They also fluctuate with the exchange
rate. PEAKS PERU E.I.R.L. reserves the right to modify prices, prior to
any reservation, for the following reasons:
· Fluctuation in the exchange rate
· Increase or decrease in the cost of a component of your trip. The actual
price is confirmed at the time of booking. PEAKS PERU E.I.R.L. receives
your deposit for a 2008 trip, it will absorb all price increases other
than a fluctuation in the exchange rate.
Not included in our prices
- International airfare to Peru
- Food and lodging resulting from flight delays.
- Personal expenditures, gifts, visas, and departure taxes.
- Beverages (bottled water, soda, alcohol).
- Visas,
- Personal assistance insurance.
- Tips.
